January Shows in Atlanta, #4: Archnemesis at Terminal West

Atlanta, Fri. 1/25: Go see Archnemesis, SunSquabi and This is Art at Terminal West! According to Wikipedia, there are 22 genres and 200+ sub-genres of electronic music. While I can appreciate all of them individually, I haven’t seen many live “electronic” shows of any kind. But what I love about these three artists is the fusion of hip-hop, funk and soul. Archnemesis, who played at both the CounterPoint and Impulse festivals in Georgia last year, incorporates 20’s jazz and blues with modern hip-hop and soul. Listen to “Hey Now” below and get hooked on it like I did. See ya at the show!

Curt Heiny and Justin Aubuchon, a.k.a. Archnemesis, are from Charleston, SC and describe their music as “electro soul.” (Twitter + Facebook)
